Apple’s New Mac Mini: Compact Power with M4 and M4 Pro Chips
The new Apple Mac mini packs powerful M4 and M4 Pro chips, delivering exceptional performance with a carbon-neutral footprint, aligning with a more sustainable future.
The New Apple Mac mini: A Small-Scale Revolution
Once again, Apple is making waves in the desktop computer world with the launch of its new Mac mini, which pushes the boundaries of miniaturization while delivering stunning performance. Since introducing the first Mac mini in 2005, Apple today updates the concept with an even more compact and powerful version.
A Powerhouse in a Minimalist Shell
The new Mac mini features a tiny 5×5 inch footprint with a height of just two inches. Inside, it houses an M4 chip, with an option to upgrade to the more powerful M4 Pro model. Standard with 16GB of RAM, the Mac mini starts at an impressive €699 (€579 for educational clients).
A Smaller Design for Enhanced Appeal
Why has Apple chosen to further reduce the size of the Mac mini? The answer lies in Apple’s ambition to make the Mac mini a coveted “object of desire”. Its smaller frame is likely to tempt many users to make space for it at home or in the office.
Enhanced Performance for Optimal Use
According to Apple, the M4 chip makes the new Mac mini up to 1.8 times faster than the M1 model, and up to 2.2 times faster in graphics. The M4 Pro chip, with up to 14 cores (10 performance and 2 efficiency cores), offers up to three times the bandwidth of Thunderbolt 3 and supports up to 64GB of RAM. Additionally, Apple has added multiple front-facing ports to the Mac mini, simplifying the connection of USB drives and headphones.
The new Apple Mac mini is available for pre-order starting at €699 (€579 for educational clients) and will hit stores on November 9. The M4 Pro model starts at €1,649 (€1,529 for educational institutions).
