At just 19 years old, Angélique Carreno is a happy young entrepreneur.

Struggling to Share Your Literary Finds? Discover Booklink…

Angélique Carreno, a psychology and medicine student in Clermont-Ferrand, has created Booklink, a dating app for book lovers aimed at rejuvenating the joy of reading among young people and sharing delightful discoveries.

Reviving the Love of Reading in the Youth

In an interview with France 3, Carreno discussed the genesis of her idea: “I wondered why young people weren’t reading and thought a dynamic tool that encourages reading and fosters a love for it would be interesting. This allows you to connect with others who have liked the same books as you!” she explained.

“My main goal is straightforward: to energize reading and make it more accessible,” she added.

Enter Your Favorite Books and ‘Match’ With Your Current Favorite

Using Booklink is simple: input your favorite books and ‘match’ your current favorite with other enthusiasts while discovering new reads. Booklink is available on iOS and Android.

Purchase Your Books on Fnac or Amazon

Booklink users can buy their chosen books after being redirected to Fnac and Amazon. Carreno’s long-term goal is to list all bookstores in France to show where books are available near readers.
