Gmail’s Gemini-Powered Q&A Feature Launches on iOS

Initially, this feature was exclusively available to Android users.
Google Transforms Email Search with Gemini
Recently, Google has unveiled a revolutionary way to search through Gmail using the artificial intelligence of Gemini. Named Gmail Q&A, this feature allows you to pinpoint specific emails and information by simply asking questions to the Gemini chatbot. For instance, querying “What time is our dinner reservation on Saturday?” swiftly brings up the needed details.
New Feature Now Available on iPhone
Originally exclusive to Android devices, Google has begun rolling out this feature to iPhone users. Beyond posing questions, you can also locate unread emails from a specific sender by asking Gemini to “Find unread emails from [person’s name]”.
Gemini: A Versatile Tool
The chatbot can also summarize topics prevalent in your inbox, such as ongoing work projects discussed over numerous email threads. Furthermore, Gemini allows for general searches directly within Gmail, enhancing user convenience without leaving the inbox. Accessing Gemini is as easy as clicking the star icon at the top right of your Gmail app.
Gradual Rollout
Google notes that the feature may take up to 15 days to appear on your devices. However, access to Gemini requires a subscription to Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, Education Premium, or Google One AI Premium.
