With 20 years of expertise and numerous innovations, Sennheiser today introduces a groundbreaking development. The German audio specialist unveils the Profile Wireless, an all-in-one microphone system designed to fulfill every requirement.

Unmatched Adaptability

This new system features two pre-paired clip-on microphones with a charging bar. Attach them anywhere you like, and for delicate clothing, magnetic mounts are provided. The innovation doesn’t stop there. One of the mics can be transformed into a “handheld microphone” by simply inserting it into the charging bar. A foam windscreen is also included to reduce background noise. Additionally, the system can be converted into an “desktop microphone” using table stands.

Cutting-edge Technology and Connectivity

The Profile Wireless’s charging bar is equipped with an OLED touchscreen that displays the audio levels of the microphones. It can connect to various devices through included adapters. The system automatically adjusts its orientation to keep the display legible when connected to a phone. Each microphone boasts a 24-bit recording capability and comes with a 16 GB internal memory.

Availability and Competition

The Profile Wireless system is already available for pre-order in the United States, Europe, and the UK, priced more affordably than DJI’s comparable microphone set. However, unlike DJI’s option, Sennheiser’s system does not incorporate Bluetooth connectivity. The exact release date is yet to be announced but is expected between the last quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025.
