Xreal One Series: Ultra-Connected AR Glasses Redefining Augmented Reality

Xreal's new One Series augmented reality glasses stand out for their ability to connect with nearly any device via USB-C port.
Xreal Unveils Next-Gen AR Glasses: The One Series
Debuting at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Xreal’s Air 2 Ultra augmented reality glasses were met with enthusiasm. Their success hinged on compatibility with various apps, a challenge Xreal has now cleverly addressed with its new One series, which features USB-C connectivity for enhanced device compatibility.
Impressive Performance
The latest AR glasses boast customizable cinematic displays with three degrees of freedom (3DoF) rotational tracking and spatial computing. They can also interface and control displays from “iPhones, Androids, Steam Deck, PCs, MacBooks, and virtually any device with a USB-C video output,” according to Xreal.
The One series incorporates a custom silicon chip named X1, enabling extremely low motion-to-photon (M2P) latency of about 3ms at 120Hz, facilitating “independent spatial computation.”
Exceptional Visual Comfort
The One series offers a substantial display area with a full HD 1080p resolution per eye. The One Pro model is the first to feature a flat prism lens design, achieving a 57-degree field of view. Both One and One Pro models also feature enhanced audio quality powered by Sound by Bose technology.
Despite their significant size, these glasses are 40.9% slimmer than traditional “bird bath” optics, as claimed by the manufacturer.
Availability and Pricing
Xreal is now accepting pre-orders for the One and One Pro models, priced at €499 and €649 respectively. Deliveries for the One model will start in mid-December, while the One Pro will be available in early 2022.
