LG has recently introduced a groundbreaking innovation: the UltraGear GX9. This monitor features an impressive 5K2K resolution and the ability to fold, seamlessly transitioning from a curved to a flat position with a simple gesture.

A Flexible Monitor for an Enhanced Gaming Experience

In a press release, LG detailed the monitor’s features. “The 45-inch monitor can switch from a completely flat to a 900R curvature in seconds, offering users incredible flexibility and enhanced control over their gaming experience”, the company stated. Although not the first foldable screen on the market, it is the first to offer a 5K2K resolution.

Advanced Features for Unmatched Gaming Performance

The UltraGear GX9’s flexibility is just one of its standout features. It also boasts an enhanced Dual-Mode function, allowing for easy switching between various resolution and refresh rate presets depending on the monitor’s use. Additionally, LG has equipped this monitor with an ultra-fast response time of 0.03ms (GtG), an anti-glare and low-reflection coating, and a 21:9 aspect ratio for maximum screen space. It also offers eight customizable settings tailored to different gaming genres such as FPS, RPG, MOBA, and racing simulators.
