CES 2025: Samsung Unveils The Frame Pro, Major Upgrade to Artistic TV

At CES 2025, Samsung unveiled a significant upgrade to its artistic TV, "The Frame Pro," introducing groundbreaking innovations that are set to transform the television industry.

Significant Upgrades to “The Frame Pro”

Samsung’s decor-friendly TV, The Frame, has been a hit since its 2017 debut. Now, Samsung aims to captivate even more customers with its upgraded model, The Frame Pro.

Two key enhancements set this new display apart. Firstly, The Frame Pro now features a Neo QLED screen, powered by Mini LED technology similar to that used in the company’s high-end QN900 series TVs. According to The Verge, the Mini LEDs in The Frame Pro are uniquely positioned in a single row at the bottom of the screen, offering localized dimming capabilities.

Enhanced Performance

At CES, Samsung’s demos highlighted the art-enhancing capabilities of The Frame Pro. Comparisons with the current model revealed a brighter display, enhanced detail, and deeper blacks. Additionally, Samsung boosted the refresh rate to 144Hz to elevate the gaming experience, suggesting similar improvements will apply to The Frame Pro.

New Wireless Connection

The second major upgrade is the introduction of the “Wireless One Connect Box”. This device, akin to LG’s solution for its M series TVs, is more compact and resembles a gaming console. It employs Wi-Fi to wirelessly transmit content and audio from connected streaming devices and gaming consoles.

The Frame Pro is poised to be a significant leap forward from The Frame, thanks to its Neo QLED panel. However, its real-world performance remains to be seen. What’s certain is that it will be pricier than the current model, which starts at $600 for the 32-inch size.
