CES 2025: NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang Hails the Rise of Superintelligent AI

At CES 2025, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang enthusiastically embraced the rise of super-intelligent AI, heralding a promising new era for the future of technology.
The Future of AI According to NVIDIA’s CEO
NVIDIA’s CEO, Jensen Huang, shared his bright vision for the future—a world filled with robots and superior artificial intelligence (AI). During a Q&A session at CES, he asserted his belief that intelligent robots will be allies to humanity, stating confidently, “Together with humans, because that’s how we will build them.”
Embracing Superintelligence
Huang also emphasized that the concept of superintelligence is not new to him. He surrounds himself with individuals who are superintelligent in their fields within his company. He prefers being surrounded by superintelligence rather than its opposite. The surge in generative AI has immensely benefited NVIDIA, now competing with Apple and Microsoft for the world’s highest valuation.
A Task-Oriented Vision
Unlike others, such as OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman and Elon Musk from Tesla, who envisage the arrival of an almost divine general AI, Huang’s vision is more task-focused. “That’s the future, you will have a superintelligent AI to help you write, solve problems, manage supply chain planning, write software, and design chips,” he detailed.
Training Robots for the Real World
In a morning Q&A session, Huang acknowledged difficulties in articulating his real-world AI vision. He believes that NVIDIA’s Omniverse technology for visualizing 3D routines, combined with NVIDIA Cosmos for creating photorealistic environments for AI training, will simplify training robots for real-world tasks. This could be a step toward AI superintelligence, or at least toward slightly more capable robots.
