Huawei Mate XT: The First Trifold Smartphone Redefining Boundaries

The Huawei Mate XT, featuring a triple-fold screen, revolutionizes the smartphone market with its bold innovation enhancing productivity, entertainment, and mobile photography.
Huawei Mate XT: A Groundbreaking Trifold Smartphone
In a bold move into a new tech era, Huawei has launched the Mate XT in Malaysia, the world’s first trifold smartphone. This innovative breakthrough aims to revitalize Huawei’s smartphone sales, heavily impacted by US trade sanctions.
A Trio of Screens for Diverse Uses
First unveiled in China on September 20, the Mate XT impresses with its ability to expand a 6.4-inch screen into a 10.2-inch tablet. This is made possible by its world-first triple-fold OLED screen. “In triple-screen mode, the device is ideal for watching movies. In dual-screen mode, it’s excellent for reading and productivity tasks like checking and replying to emails,” Huawei stated.
Cutting-Edge Features
The device also boasts a range of advanced features, including a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 5.5x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The Mate XT also features a front-facing camera, positioned on the left, useful for selfies whether the phone is folded or unfolded. Available in black or red, it offers 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, priced at RM14,999.
Expanding Huawei’s Offerings
Beyond the Mate XT, Huawei has also introduced other products, including the MatePad Pro – a tablet with a 13.2-inch OLED screen, anti-glare PaperMatte coating to minimize light reflection, and a 10,100mAh battery – and the Band 10, a fitness watch that tracks heart rate during sleep and can detect health issues.
