Apple Intelligence Debuts on Vision Pro in April, Beta Version Available for Developers

Apple's AI technology is set to be integrated into the Vision Pro this April, with a beta version already available for developers starting today.
Apple’s Intelligence Arrives on Vision Pro
The buzz is true: Apple has confirmed that starting next April, Vision Pro will be enhanced with its intelligence capabilities through the release of visionOS 2.4. Eager developers can access a beta version today.
The initial features will include basic tools. Writing Tools will assist in summarizing, rewriting, and editing text, while ChatGPT will focus on text generation. Other features like Image Playground and Genmoji will enable users to create AI-generated images and customize emojis and stickers, respectively.
Apps and Adjustments to Enhance User Experience
Apple is also introducing new apps and adjustments to make the Vision Pro headset even more versatile. The exclusive Spatial Gallery app will showcase Apple-produced videos, photos, and spatial panoramas. Another app, Apple Vision Pro for iPhone, will allow users to manage their headset experience more efficiently, add apps remotely, explore content for later viewing, and receive updates on new releases for Vision Pro.
Enhanced Guest Mode
Lastly, the guest mode is getting a user-friendly update with visionOS 2.4. Headset owners can now initiate guest sessions using their iPhone and iPad, remotely select apps available to guests wearing the Vision Pro, and start AirPlay mirroring. Previously, this process required physically handling the Vision Pro, activating guest mode, and then handing it off to another user.
With these updates, Apple is making the Vision Pro platform more accessible to the general public, not just developers specialized in spatial computing. We look forward to seeing how these new features improve the user experience.
