The outcome is a drool-worthy set of headphones, the ATH-AWSW DV from Audio Technica. Adorned with wooden casings featuring Darth Vader, they are both visually stunning and high-performing.

A Price That Reflects Their Quality

It’s important to note two things: only ten pairs of these headphones are available, and they come with a hefty price tag of ¥990,000 (approximately $6,766). Clearly, they’re not cheap.

What Does This Exorbitant Price Include?

For this price, you receive a pair of audiophile-grade headphones from Audio Technica, featuring specially crafted wooden casings that showcase traditional Japanese Echizen lacquer and maki-e craftsmanship. This is arguably one of the most visually impressive renditions of Darth Vader available.

These headphones can be seen in action on Audio Technica’s YouTube channel. Note, however, that only 10 units are available, and they are sold exclusively during Star Wars Day in Japan. Unfortunately, all tickets are already sold out.
