How to make an orange yogurt cake?
Here are the ingredients for 6 people:
1 pot of plain yogurt (whole milk for extra softness)
3 eggs
½ pot of melted butter or oil
1 to 2 pots of sugar according to taste
1 packet of baking powder
3 pots of flour
Orange juice
The procedure
Start by emptying a pot of plain yogurt into a large bowl. Then add the three eggs and mix gently to obtain a smooth texture. Incorporate half a pot of melted butter (or oil, according to your preferences). Add one to two pots of sugar, depending on your sweet tooth, and continue beating until you get a uniform mixture.
Sprinkle a packet of baking powder, then gradually pour the three pots of flour. Mix vigorously to avoid lumps and obtain a smooth dough. Grease a mold of your choice and transfer the preparation into it. Bake at 180°C for 30 to 35 minutes. Meanwhile, make a light syrup with the juice of three oranges and a little sugar. When the cake is out of the oven, generously drizzle it with this flavored syrup. Wait a few minutes, unmold gently, and enjoy your ultra soft cake!
