As millions face this technological transition, staying reachable at home remains entirely feasible. Several alternatives will be available:

Financially, consumers can expect an installation fee around €55 to activate a new fibre line. Standard monthly subscriptions are projected at roughly €22, with unlimited call packages approaching €44.

To ease confusion and help residents plan ahead, Orange has launched an interactive online map pinpointing communities where copper deactivation is underway. On this map, purple marks denote trial areas; orange highlights places soon affected; grey indicates locations where traditional landlines are already gone.
