The highly anticipated new versions of the Apple MacBook Air M4 and iPad Air are expected to debut following the release of the iPhone SE 4, promising significant improvements for users.

Apple Surprises with New Product Launches

Global tech giant Apple is gearing up to astonish its customers with fresh offerings, as detailed in Mark Gurman’s latest Bloomberg report. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to debut as soon as next week, with a quiet launch, followed closely by other new products.

Headphones with Built-in Heart Rate Monitor

The PowerBeats Pro 2 may hit the market “by February 11,” Gurman’s report suggests. This time, he describes them as “the first from an Apple brand to include a built-in heart rate monitor,” hinting that Apple may use its Beats brand to test this fitness-focused feature.

2025 Ambitions: MacBook Air and iPads

According to Gurman, Apple plans to launch a new MacBook Air equipped with the faster M4 chip, entry-level iPads, and refreshed iPad Air models in the first half of 2025. While this could mean any time until the end of June, Gurman hints at an earlier release, noting that stocks of the iPad Air and MacBook Air have been “reduced at Apple stores.”

The MacBook Air M4 is expected to be a minor update, coming after last year’s M3 version. The iPad Air might retain its current design, but the refresh could be more substantial. The 2024 iPad Air currently features Apple’s M2 chip, and the next update might only advance to M3, although Gurman “wouldn’t be terribly surprised if the 2025 models jump to M4.”

A Busy Start to the Year for Apple

The year 2025 looks to be action-packed for Apple. Gurman also noted that the regular iPad might feature the same A17 chipset found in last year’s iPhone 15 Pro and iPad mini 7, with a RAM upgrade to 8GB, enabling access to Apple Intelligence. However, despite these numerous product releases, don’t expect Apple’s high-end iPhone 17 until September.
