Discover the Stunning Design of the Upcoming OnePlus Open 2 Foldable Phone in Images

The newly revealed images of the OnePlus Open 2 showcase the remarkable thinness this foldable phone could feature.
A New Record on the Horizon
The smartphone industry is on the verge of breaking new ground. Chinese tech giant Oppo has just teased on the social media platform Weibo, hinting that their upcoming Oppo Find N5 may be the slimmest foldable smartphone ever created. This would be a remarkable technological feat if achieved.
A Revealing Teaser
Oppo’s Find series product manager, Zhou Yibao, released enticing images. Although the full design of the phone remains unseen, the images highlight the extraordinary thinness of the Oppo Find N5. To illustrate its slimness, the phone is compared to an iPhone, two Chinese coins, and four stacked credit cards. The device is so thin that there is hardly any space left around the USB-C port.

Maximally Reduced Thickness
“There isn’t much thickness left to remove without completely eliminating the port,” Zhou Yibao noted. While he couldn’t disclose the exact thickness of the phone, he suggested that rumors of it being thinner than the Honor Magic V3, which is 9.3 mm thick when folded, might be accurate. My personal guess is that the thickness could be between 8 and 9 mm.
A Highly Anticipated Launch
Official confirmation of these details won’t come until next month. Indeed, Zhou Yibao confirmed that the Oppo Find N5 will be unveiled in February. However, it is likely that the international version of the phone won’t be available for several months, following the pattern seen with the OnePlus 13. Tech enthusiasts around the globe will eagerly await more information on this groundbreaking phone.
