Google Shopping Enhances with New AI-Powered Features

Artificial intelligence has become essential in all aspects of modern life.
Google Shopping: AI at the Heart of New Features
Google, the tech giant, continues to innovate by integrating more artificial intelligence (AI) into its Shopping service. The California-based company has recently unveiled a series of new features, aimed at providing users with more interactive and personalized online shopping experiences.
Targeted Product Recommendations
Now, when you search on Google Shopping, the service automatically generates a summary of products related to your search. For instance, if you search for notebooks, Google will also suggest other stationery items like pens or erasers. “Show the most relevant products” is Google’s mission with this new feature. Recommended products are selected from various sources, including articles and guides from the web, which you can access with a click.
Virtual Try-On and Augmented Reality
In addition to these recommendations, Google Shopping now allows you to refine searches using filters. You can, for example, look for clothes in your size or find products available in nearby stores. These filters also apply to the virtual try-on feature, another novelty by Google Shopping. Thanks to augmented reality, users can “see” products as if they were in a store, provided the products are associated with a 3D model.
Personalized Offers and a Flexible Shopping Experience
Google Shopping also offers a “Deals” page featuring discounted products. This page is personalized based on your previous searches, making it easier to find deals that interest you. Moreover, if you need to pause your shopping session, you can resume where you left off during your next visit. If you prefer not to have Google closely track your searches, you can disable this feature.
These enhancements to Google Shopping are available starting today in the United States. However, they will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks, so not everyone may have immediate access.
