Launch Date and Key Upgrades of the New iPhone SE 4 Revealed

The release date for the iPhone SE 4 has just been announced, along with key enhancements to the device.
Bold Predictions for Apple
Mark Gurman, Bloomberg’s esteemed Apple analyst, has unveiled some exciting forecasts for Apple’s upcoming products, including the iPhone SE 4 and a new version of the iPad Air.
New iPhone SE on the Horizon
The next entry-level iPhone, the iPhone SE 4, is expected to launch early next year. With the last SE model updated in 2022, significant enhancements are likely for this new edition.
The most persistent rumor is about the iPhone SE 4’s design, which is expected to drop the home button—a feature absent from main iPhone models since the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus in 2017. Consequently, the iPhone SE 4 may adopt the Face ID unlocking system, aligning with the rest of the lineup.
According to Gurman, the upcoming iPhone SE might feature enhanced Apple intelligence, necessitating an upgraded chip system. This could lead to a price increase from its current starting price of $429.
Enhanced iPad Air
Gurman also reports that Apple is developing new 11 and 13-inch versions of the iPad Air, set to release alongside the iPhone SE 4. These new tablets will feature “internal improvements,” though specific details remain unclear.
Additionally, Apple is said to be designing new Magic Keyboards tailored for the 11 and 13-inch versions of the iPad Air. Moreover, a new version of the iPad Mini is anticipated before the end of 2024.
New Products on the Horizon
Meanwhile, Apple is gearing up to announce a slew of new products this month, including new MacBook Pros, Mac Minis, and iMacs equipped with the M4 processor. Other potential releases include an upgraded Apple TV 4K and possibly the iPad 11 or the previously mentioned iPad Mini 7.
