Leaked Video Reveals Design of Apple’s New iPhone 17 Series

As anticipation builds for the new iPhone 17 models, all eyes are on the iPhone 17 Air, noted for its remarkable thinness. This bold redesign could indeed take Apple enthusiasts by surprise.

Exclusive Insights into the Dimensions

Recent leaks have revealed potential dimensions for the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Air. Ice Universe, a regular source of insider info, stated that the iPhone 17 Pro Max would retain the dimensions of its predecessor, whereas the iPhone 17 Air will be notably thinner.

Ice Universe specifically noted: “The length, width, screen size, and edges (identical to the iPhone 16 Pro Max) of the iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro Max are the same.” He added that the iPhone 17 Air would have a thickness of 5.5 mm compared to the Pro Max’s 8.72 mm.

Design Shift for a Slimmer Model

The iPhone 17 Pro Max appears slightly thicker than last year’s model, possibly due to a new camera design or a larger battery. For context, the iPhone 16 Pro Max measures 163mm x 77.7mm x 8.25mm.

Leaker Majin Bu, in collaboration with YouTuber iDeviceHelp, confirmed these dimensions and showcased mockups of the iPhone 17 models based on what they claim are “internal documents.”

A New Horizon for the iPhone 17

The iPhone 17 Air is set to replace the Plus model in the lineup. The current Plus is slightly smaller than the Pro Max but comparable in size to the Pro model. The increased size of the Air might accommodate components that were cramped in the slightly smaller dimensions of the Plus.

More details are expected in September, when Apple is slated to launch the next iteration of the iPhone.
