Renowned for its premium cameras, Leica has now ventured into the smartphone market. Its latest creation, the LUX mount for iPhone, brings the classic Leica camera experience to smartphone users. Weighing just 120 grams, this mount is designed for ambidextrous use.

Cutting-Edge Technology for Mobile Photography

The Leica LUX mount features a two-stage shutter release for precise shooting. It includes buttons for switching shooting modes and accessing frequently used functions, customizable via the Leica LUX app. A control dial allows easy adjustment of settings like zoom, aperture, and shutter speed. Note that after 1,000 shots, the mount’s battery needs a two-hour recharge via USB-C.

A Dedicated App for a Tailored Experience

The LUX mount’s performance is enhanced by the Leica LUX app, which connects to the iPhone using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The app allows for button customization and offers background blur effects from Summilux-M and Noctilux-M lenses, as well as “Leica Looks,” preset effects that require no post-processing.
