Netflix has introduced a feature that allows iOS users to download an entire season with just one click.

A Step Closer to Independence for iOS Netflix Users

Netflix, the streaming powerhouse, has significantly enhanced the user experience for its iOS subscribers by enabling the download of entire season episodes in one go. Previously, this popular feature was exclusive to Android smartphone and tablet users.

A Long-Awaited iOS Feature

This feature has been available on Android for several years. It’s not uncommon for Netflix to initially roll out new features on Android before introducing them to iOS. For instance, the smart download service, which automatically deletes watched episodes and downloads the next one, took a full year to make its way to iOS.

A Netflix spokesperson told Variety, “Downloading episodes one by one was a point of friction for our iOS members that we are now addressing with this rollout.” This feature is especially beneficial for series enthusiasts who plan their viewing for long flights or road trips.

How to Take Advantage?

To use this new option, users can visit the series page on the Netflix app and find a button next to the “Share” option to start downloading a full season. However, managing individual episodes remains possible via the “Downloads” section under the “My Netflix” tab.

This update marks another step towards a more seamless and enjoyable user experience. Netflix continues to demonstrate its commitment to meeting the expectations of its subscribers across all platforms.
