Nintendo Switch 2 May Feature Object Repair in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom

The upcoming Switch 2 console may enable players to fix items in games like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, but there's a catch.
Exciting New Features Expected on Nintendo Switch 2
Nintendo enthusiasts have reasons to celebrate as the gaming giant is set to release two highly anticipated titles, “Breath of the Wild” and “Tears of the Kingdom”, on its upcoming console, the Switch 2. These games will feature significant enhancements, including an intriguing new application called Zelda Notes.
A Companion App with Unexpected Features
The Zelda Notes app, designed to be a vital companion for gamers, may include a surprising feature: the ability to repair equipment. This potential feature, not yet confirmed by Nintendo, was hinted at by YouTuber Zeltik during the “Nintendo Treehouse Live” event.
During the live stream, the Zelda Notes app was demonstrated using a spin-the-wheel feature to award random in-game bonuses. These include “Equipment Repairs”, health recovery, a fireproof elixir, a quick meal, stamina restoration, energy cell recharge, and more.
A Highly Anticipated Feature Among Players
While all these features are beneficial, the ability to repair equipment is particularly awaited by fans since the release of “Breath of the Wild”. However, the fact that this function is tied to an app and a random spin means that repairs will be infrequent. Players will need to strategically select which items to repair if they get the opportunity.
It’s also possible that Nintendo might offer other ways to obtain these equipment repair tokens, either in-game or via the Zelda Notes app. We eagerly await an official announcement from the company.
