Rabbit R1's learning mode represents a significant advancement by enabling users to customize and automate tasks on any website.

Rabbit R1: A Leap Forward in AI Facilitation

Following over 20 software updates this year, Rabbit R1 has rolled out its most pivotal update yet. The new “learning mode” feature is now available in beta for all R1 users. This functionality allows users to train Rabbit’s AI model to automate tasks on any website accessed from a computer.

Teaching the AI

Before its official release, Rabbit’s founder and CEO, Jesse Lyu, showcased a demo of the learning mode. By logging into your Rabbit account, you can visit a website and input your credentials to teach R1 how to use the service on your behalf. “Your username and password will not be stored by Rabbit,” Lyu assured. Instead, the company saves your session cookie during the learning mode for later use by R1.

Automating with the R1

After naming and describing your automation, you perform the task as usual. Rabbit’s software will convert every click and interaction into commands that R1 can later execute independently. Once the software has analyzed a lesson, you can replay the automation to ensure it functions correctly before testing it on your R1.

The Future of Rabbit R1

Discussing the future of Rabbit R1, Lyu mentioned that users will soon be able to freely add community-sourced lessons from Rabbithole to their devices. He envisions a future where users can sell their automations, with Rabbit taking a cut. Although currently limited to website navigation, Lyu suggests that learning mode will eventually extend to more complex applications like Excel. At that point, Lyu believes Rabbit will be poised to provide general AI, capable of understanding every software ever created for humans.
