Apple Fitness+ is expanding its offerings by integrating Strava and adding new workout programs, enhancing the overall fitness experience.

Apple Fitness+ Revamped for 2025

As 2025 kicks off, Apple Fitness+ is buzzing with energy, not only adding fresh content to its yoga, weightlifting, and meditation programs but also integrating with the popular fitness app, Strava.

Yoga Retreat-Inspired Workshops

Previously catering mainly to beginners, Apple Fitness+ is now introducing yoga workshops inspired by retreats, focusing on challenging poses like the dancer and the crow. Each pose features a 10-minute preparatory flow to warm up, followed by a 10-minute practice session, helping users enhance their skills and hopefully master complex poses.

A Progressive Strength Training Program

For weightlifting enthusiasts, Fitness+ now offers a new three-week progressive strength program called “Three Perfect Weeks of Strength.” This program includes twelve 30-minute sessions, starting with “Progressive Overload” in the first week, “Time Under Tension” in the second, and “Dynamic Power” in the third.

Innovative Integration with Strava

One of the most exciting updates is the integration of Fitness+ with Strava. Now, sharing a Fitness+ workout on Strava displays details such as the specific Fitness+ workout completed and the coach who led it, along with usual health data. Additionally, Apple is offering Strava subscribers up to three months of Fitness+ at no extra cost in a clever cross-promotion deal.

Alongside these updates, Apple Fitness+ also introduces new features like an introductory course on breath meditation, workout selections designed for Pickleball, a new series of celebrity-hosted audio stories “Time to Walk,” and dedicated workout playlists featuring Janet Jackson (January 13), Coldplay (January 20), Bruno Mars (January 27), and Kendrick Lamar (February 3).
