At CES 2025, electronics giant TCL showcased the latest iteration of its groundbreaking NXTPAPER technology, central to its new tablet, the NXTPAPER 11 Plus, continuing to dazzle as it did the previous year.

NXTPAPER 4.0: A Clear Step Up

The NXTPAPER 11 Plus features the new NXTPAPER 4.0 screen, employing “nano-matrix lithography” for significantly enhanced clarity and sharpness. Color accuracy has also seen improvement, achieving a Delta-E rating of just one, indicating color differences imperceptible to the human eye.

Enhanced Visual Comfort Through AI

Since 2021, TCL has been dedicated to developing an eye-friendly display with its NXTPAPER technology. The latest 11 Plus tablet incorporates AI with its new “Smart Eye Comfort” mode that adjusts brightness based on usage scenarios, along with customizable “Personalized Eye Comfort Modes.”

Smart Features for Optimal Use

The tablet supports Google’s “Circle to Search” and a “Smart Voice Memo” feature that transcribes and summarizes recordings. A built-in “Smart Translator” handles voice, text, and image translations, while AI subtitles provide real-time dialogue transcription.

It’s noteworthy that TCL’s NXTPAPER technology is quite unique in the display industry, offering an image quality akin to E-Ink but with the speed, resolution, and sharpness of a traditional LCD. Details on the pricing and availability of the NXTPAPER 11 Plus will be announced soon.
