Former U.S. President Donald Trump has stirred controversy by sharing manipulated images on his network, Truth Social, implying support from pop star Taylor Swift and her fans for his 2024 presidential campaign.

The Use of AI-Generated Images

Among these images is one showing Taylor Swift dressed as Uncle Sam, urging her followers to vote for Trump. Others depict women wearing “Swifties for Trump” t-shirts.

Hany Farid, a digital forensics expert at the University of California, Berkeley, noted that these images were either created by artificial intelligence or traditionally manipulated.

Swift’s Political Stance Draws Interest

As of now, neither Taylor Swift nor her representatives have commented on these posts. The music superstar has not yet declared her political allegiance for the 2024 elections.
