Trump Threatens to Send Tesla Vandals to Salvadoran Prisons

Donald Trump has expressed a strong desire to crack down on individuals vandalizing Tesla vehicles, labeling them as "terrorists" and considering sending them to serve their sentences in Salvadoran prisons.
The Wave of Vandalism Against Tesla
The renowned electric vehicle brand, Tesla, is currently facing an unprecedented wave of vandalism.
Incidents of damage are affecting vehicles, dealerships, and charging stations across the United States and Europe, amid broader calls for a boycott of the brand.
Donald Trump’s Response
In light of these events, U.S. President Donald Trump, a close ally of Tesla owner Elon Musk, has reacted. He threatened on his Truth Social platform to send the “terrorists” responsible for these acts to prisons in El Salvador:
“I look forward to seeing the thug terrorists get 20 years in prison for what they’re doing to Elon Musk and Tesla. Perhaps they could serve their time in Salvadoran prisons, which have recently become famous for their very welcoming conditions!”
The Salvadoran Context
The reference to El Salvador is significant. The country has controversially expelled alleged members of a Venezuelan gang, and local authorities have broadcast images showing harsh treatment of prisoners during their transfer.
Charges Already Filed
Meanwhile, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has announced the indictment of three individuals for firebombing cars and charging stations with Molotov cocktails. She warned that anyone involved in this “wave of domestic terrorism” against Tesla would be incarcerated.
President Trump has also expressed his unwavering support for Elon Musk, whom he believes is being “treated very unfairly.” He has even displayed several Tesla vehicles in the White House gardens to demonstrate this support.
