Waze Update in France: Say Goodbye to Traffic Jams, Poor Planning, and Delays
Since Google acquired it in 2013, the app struggled with route planning and real-time conditions. These issues are now resolved. What improvements do you hope to see in this update?
Waze: A Refreshing Update That Delights Drivers
Waze, acquired by Google in 2013, has become an indispensable tool for drivers aiming to dodge traffic jams and save time.
However, CarPlay users, utilizing the interface that mirrors the phone screen onto the car’s display via the iOS app, experienced several glitches.
Poorly Planned Routes and Unusual Delays
The main reported bug involved Waze’s failure to accurately plan routes: the suggested departure times ignored real-time traffic conditions, leading to unexpected delays. Complaints also included poorly timed journeys and unusual latencies.
A New Version to Rectify Issues
With the release of version 4.107.1, these problems are now a thing of the past. Available on Apple’s App Store, the latest version of Waze promises to incorporate live traffic data into travel planning. The explicit goal is to help drivers save time and more easily avoid traffic jams.
A Breath of Fresh Air for Waze Users
Since the late August 2024 update, Waze users can breathe a sigh of relief. Their trust in the app appears to be restored, and they can once again rely on their trusted navigator to guide them effectively. Morning and evening, they can now open the app confident they will find the best possible route.
